Illinois PSI test centers and remote testing

Direct answer: Illinois real estate candidates can select a PSI test center or, when offered for the chosen exam, remote proctoring. After eligibility is approved and the examination fee is paid, search the PSI scheduler by city or postal code. The current bulletin lists the 15 Illinois locations below and also says candidates may use PSI centers in other United States regions. Availability can change. Treat the booked confirmation, not this directory or an older bulletin address, as the controlling appointment record.

These venue names and addresses are transcribed from the PSI bulletin dated June 24, 2026. Search the live scheduler before making travel or lodging plans. A city in the bulletin does not guarantee an appointment on a particular date.

Remote convenience is not automatically lower stress. Run the PSI audio, video, webcam, and system checks on the exact computer and internet connection you will use. Do not switch computers or rooms during the exam.

1. Use the Illinois PSI portal and select the correct examination.
2. Make the account name match the current government identification exactly.
3. Select Test Center or Remote Proctored.
4. For a center, search by city or postal code and compare actual dates.
5. Review the center, date, time, exam, and format before payment.
6. Save the confirmation and check it again the day before testing.

PSI's current bulletin requires cancellation or rescheduling notice two days before the appointment to avoid forfeiting the fee. A voicemail does not count. Late arrival, missing identification, a missed appointment, or starting a remote exam more than 15 minutes late can also cost the fee or eligibility.

• Open the PSI booking confirmation and verify format, time, time zone, and address.
• For a center, map the exact entrance and build in traffic, parking, campus, elevator, and suite-finding time.
• Bring one valid, unexpired accepted ID with photo and signature and an exact name match.
• Leave prohibited items at home or follow the center's storage direction.
• For remote testing, rerun compatibility checks and clear the room and desk.

Plan to arrive 30 minutes early at a test center. Guests cannot wait in the center, building, or property under the current bulletin, so arrange a separate waiting place for a driver or companion.
