Direct answer: Illinois real estate candidates can select a PSI test center or, when offered for their exam, remote proctoring. Search the Illinois PSI portal by city or postal code for appointments. The booklet lists the 15 Illinois locations below and permits testing at PSI centers in other United States regions. A published address does not establish an available seat. Use the confirmation for your booked location and reporting instructions.

These venue names and addresses are transcribed from the PSI bulletin dated June 24, 2026. Search the live scheduler before making travel or lodging plans. A city in the bulletin does not guarantee an appointment on a particular date.

Choose test center or remote

Choose a test center if

  • You want PSI to provide and control the computer.
  • Your home internet, room, webcam, or noise is uncertain.
  • You can reach the booked site with the required early-arrival margin.

Choose remote if

  • Your computer passes every compatibility check.
  • You have a private, quiet, well-lit room for the full exam.
  • You can follow the program's remote room, equipment and security requirements.

Read the remote versus test-center comparison before choosing. A host venue's general rules for other exams do not replace the Illinois real estate program's rules.

Book without creating an avoidable fee loss

  1. Use the Illinois PSI portal, select the correct examination and follow its eligibility instructions.
  2. Make the account name match the current government identification exactly.
  3. Select Test Center or Remote Proctored.
  4. For a center, search by city or postal code and compare actual dates.
  5. Review the center, date, time, exam, and format before payment.
  6. Save the confirmation and check it again the day before testing.

Review the cancellation and rescheduling rules before choosing a date. Use PSI for actual seat availability, payment and appointment changes. A college calendar, office timetable or map listing does not reserve a PSI exam.

The final 24-hour location check

  • Open the PSI booking confirmation and verify format, time, time zone, and address.
  • For a center, map the exact entrance and build in traffic, parking, campus, elevator, and suite-finding time.
  • Check the accepted ID requirements, including validity, expiration, photo, signature and the scheduled name.
  • Leave prohibited items at home or follow the center's storage direction.
  • For remote testing, rerun compatibility checks and clear the room and desk.

Plan to arrive 30 minutes early at a test center. Guests cannot wait in the center, building, or property under the current bulletin, so arrange a separate waiting place for a driver or companion.
