Schaumburg traffic can vary with I-90, Illinois 53, suburban rush periods, and large employment or retail destinations. Compare the actual appointment-time route and protect a local-street buffer after leaving the expressway. A ride service still needs a verified drop-off pin and a plan for the return trip.

Late arrival can invalidate the appointment and forfeit the fee. A driver, friend, child, instructor, or other companion may not wait in the test center, building, or property under the current bulletin.
What to bring and what to leave
Bring one current, valid, unexpired government identification accepted by PSI. It must show a photo and signature, and the name must exactly match the scheduled name. The bulletin allows a physical calculator at a test center, and PSI provides scratch paper and a pencil that must be returned.
Leave reference material, phones, smart watches, earbuds, bags, personal paper, writing tools, food, drinks, and other prohibited items at home or follow the proctor's storage instruction. PSI is not responsible for belongings.
If Schaumburg is not the best appointment
