Frequently asked questions

How do I restore the full-app unlock on a new device?

Open the app’s upgrade or settings screen and choose Restore Purchase, if that option appears. Make sure the device is signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original unlock. Stay online while the store checks your access.

I unlocked the full app, but features are still locked.

First, check that the unlock appears in your Apple or Google purchase history. Then restart the app and try Restore Purchase. If features are still locked, email us with your platform, transaction date, the product shown on the receipt, app version, and any error message. Never send your full payment card number.

Can I study without an internet connection?

Yes, once the study content has downloaded to your device. You may still need an internet connection for downloads, store verification, account or sync features, and some support tasks.

The app crashes, freezes, or will not open.

Close and reopen the app, install the latest version, and restart your device. If the problem continues, tell us your device model, operating system version, Pass Illinois version, what you were doing, and the exact error message.

How do I report a questionable practice answer?

Send us the question number, study mode, the answer or explanation you want us to review, and the official source you checked. Please do not send or request content remembered from a live PSI exam.

How do I request deletion of my information?

You can remove study data stored on your device with any reset option available in the app or by uninstalling it. To ask us to delete information linked to a support message, account, backup, or sync feature, email us from the address connected to it and say that you are making a deletion request.

Free access and the full-app unlock

Pass Illinois includes a limited free tier. The full app is available through an optional $59.99 one-time unlock. It is not a recurring subscription. Apple or Google processes the payment. Pass Illinois receives only the limited information needed to confirm access and solve unlock problems.

Licensing and exam scheduling

Pass Illinois can help with the study app, but official licensing applications belong to IDFPR and exam appointments belong to PSI. Consult the IDFPR Real Estate page or the current Illinois / PSI Candidate Information Booklet.
