In the right place?

Illinois says broker, not salesperson.

In Illinois, broker is the entry-level real estate license. Managing broker is the higher license for people who manage or supervise others. Illinois does not issue a salesperson or sales associate license, so Pass Illinois uses broker language throughout.

A clearer way to prepare

Serious enough for Illinois law. Fast enough for the week before your PSI date.

Open the app and you always have a clear next step. See where you are weak, work the right questions, and check both exam portions before you book.

    Diagnose the gap

  2. 02

    Drill what moves points

How it works

Four steps from first quiz to test day.

Find your weak spots, practice them, and check your progress before you book the test.

  1. 01 · DIAGNOSE

    See exactly where you stand

Take a short content check to see which Illinois topics need work before you use a full practice exam.

    • Separate results for topics on both exam portions
    • A clear readiness result for each topic
    • Ready, Almost there, or Not yet, not just a number
  2. 02 · PRACTICE

Practice the questions that trip you up

Work through 1,339 questions in 7 study modes: Topic Practice, Weak Area Blitz, Mixed Practice, Practice Exam, Quick Review, Trap Library, and Flashcards. Every wrong answer comes with a step-by-step explanation.

    • Written for the Illinois broker exam
    • Interactive Math Coach across 17 real estate math topics
    • Practice with qualifiers, negatives, and scenario wording
  3. 03 · TRACK

    Watch both scores climb

Track the national and Illinois portions separately, so you can see which one still needs work and how each score changes over time.

    • Confidence checks flag answers you felt sure about but missed
    • Spaced review brings stubborn misses back into practice
    • Simple streaks and daily goals
  4. 04 · PASS

Book the exam when the results back you up

Use the Ready result as your final check before PSI. By test day, Illinois rules, math setups, and common question traps should already feel familiar.

    • Ready to test status based on your work
    • Offline access to questions stored on your device
    • A result based on topic balance across both portions

The Illinois difference

Two portions. You pass each one separately.

PSI scores the national and Illinois portions separately. Pass Illinois tracks them separately too, so a strong national score cannot hide a weak Illinois score.

The current broker exam has 140 scored questions and allows 240 minutes across both portions. PSI may add 5 to 10 unscored questions, which still use exam time. You must pass each portion separately. If you fail one, you repeat only that portion. After a fourth unsuccessful attempt, a broker candidate must repeat the 75-hour pre-license program and the entire exam.

Your study plan

Turn your results into the right next step.

A score alone does not tell you what to do next. Start with the free study tools. A one-time $59.99 unlock adds the full diagnostic, 1,339 Illinois broker questions, Math Coach, wording practice, offline access, and topic tracking.

  • If math is weak, drill formula recognition before doing another full exam.

  • If the state portion is shaky, review Illinois law before taking another mixed quiz.

  • If you failed once, diagnose the pattern before repeating the same study plan.

  • If you feel ready, check your results across both portions before you schedule.
