Build a West Chicago route plan
The June 24, 2026 PSI bulletin lists Illinois Aviation Academy at 32W751 Tower Road in West Chicago. Save the aviation-academy name with the address. On an airport property, a general map pin or terminal destination may not identify the correct public tenant entrance.
Check the PSI confirmation for entrance and parking instructions, follow posted public-access signs, and stay outside restricted aviation areas. Routes may involve Illinois 64, Illinois 59, I-88, or county roads. Compare the final local approach at appointment time because airport-perimeter roads are less familiar to many suburban drivers.
- Navigate to Illinois Aviation Academy, not only the airport or Tower Road.
- Verify that the map pin reaches the public academy entrance.
- Follow posted airport access and parking signs without entering restricted areas.
- Check Illinois 64, Illinois 59, I-88, and local construction when relevant.
Candidates may also compare dates from nearby areas such as Wheaton, St. Charles, Geneva, Naperville, Aurora. The closest city is not always the earliest or calmest appointment.
Use three arrival times
Leave time
Route estimate plus weather, work-zone, traffic, parking, and building buffer.
Property time
Time to park or exit a ride, locate the entrance, and reach the correct room or suite.
PSI arrival time
Be at the examination site 30 minutes before the booked start.
Late arrival can invalidate the appointment and forfeit the fee. A driver, friend, child, instructor, or other companion may not wait in the test center, building, or property under the current bulletin.
What to bring and what to leave
Bring one current, valid, unexpired government identification accepted by PSI. It must show a photo and signature, and the name must exactly match the scheduled name. The bulletin allows a physical calculator at a test center, and PSI provides scratch paper and a pencil that must be returned.
Leave reference material, phones, smart watches, earbuds, bags, personal paper, writing tools, food, drinks, and other prohibited items at home or follow the proctor's storage instruction. PSI is not responsible for belongings.
If West Chicago is not the best appointment
Return to the live search and compare another Illinois city, an available PSI center elsewhere in the United States, or remote proctoring. For remote delivery, confirm that the exact computer passes audio, video, webcam, and system checks. Remote candidates cannot use scratch paper or a physical calculator and cannot take a break.
