Build a Elgin route plan
PSI's June 24, 2026 bulletin lists the Training Institute of Elgin at 620 Wing Street, Suite 9. Put the suite number in the route notes and inspect the confirmation for entrance or check-in details. Arriving at the right street address is not the same as reaching the proctor's desk.
Routes into Elgin may use I-90, US 20, Illinois 31, or local Fox River crossings. Compare the route at appointment time and avoid a plan that depends on a perfect expressway trip. Build separate time for leaving the highway, local signals, parking, and locating Suite 9.

Be at the examination site 30 minutes before the booked start.
Late arrival can invalidate the appointment and forfeit the fee. A driver, friend, child, instructor, or other companion may not wait in the test center, building, or property under the current bulletin.
What to bring and what to leave
Bring one current, valid, unexpired government identification accepted by PSI. It must show a photo and signature, and the name must exactly match the scheduled name. The bulletin allows a physical calculator at a test center, and PSI provides scratch paper and a pencil that must be returned.
Leave reference material, phones, smart watches, earbuds, bags, personal paper, writing tools, food, drinks, and other prohibited items at home or follow the proctor's storage instruction. PSI is not responsible for belongings.
If Elgin is not the best appointment
Return to the live search and compare another Illinois city, an available PSI center elsewhere in the United States, or remote proctoring. For remote delivery, confirm that the exact computer passes audio, video, webcam, and system checks. Remote candidates cannot use scratch paper or a physical calculator and cannot take a break.
