Public accuracy record

See what changed, what was verified, and what was not a correction

A trustworthy log should not turn routine proofreading into evidence of accuracy. Material errors, source changes, and no-change reviews belong in different lanes.

Last updated: August 1, 2026

The resource first

Direct answer: As of August 1, 2026, Pass Illinois has no material factual corrections recorded for the current reviewed edition. That statement does not mean the site is error-proof. It means the current review found no published error that changed a student's likely understanding, study decision, calculation, or required action. The log separately records verification of the June 24, 2026 PSI bulletin, the July 13, 2026 brokerage-agreement rule text, the July 31, 2026 IDFPR provider listing, and the 2026 endorsement and reciprocity rules. Source-driven updates are labeled as updates rather than retroactively described as corrections. Minor spelling, grammar, style, and link repairs that do not change meaning are not listed as material corrections.

Log distinction

Correction, source update, or verification

August 1, 2026 | PSI bulletin | Verification

The current Illinois Real Estate Candidate Information Bulletin was checked for scored-question counts, separate passing standards, portion time limits, experimental questions, identification, test-center and remote rules, rescheduling, retakes, and the one-year post-passing application clock.

Result: current exam and logistics pages were aligned to the June 24, 2026 bulletin. No material correction was entered for the current reviewed edition. Where PSI surfaces conflict, the conflict is disclosed instead of silently choosing the more convenient number.

August 1, 2026 | Illinois licensing sources | Source updates

The Real Estate License Act and Part 1450 were checked for sponsorship, compensation, agency, written agreements, education, renewal, endorsement, reciprocity, advertising, funds, assistants, and discipline. The brokerage-agreement guidance reflects the rule text current July 13, 2026: seller or owner agreements before marketing or listing, and buyer or tenant agreements before, or as soon as reasonably practical after, licensed assistance intended to help buy or lease begins.

The site also reflects the January 1, 2026 closure of new reciprocity applications and the current endorsement route. These are source-driven legal updates. They are not presented as proof that earlier reviewed pages contained a material error.

  • Correction: published meaning was wrong and was changed.
  • Source update: a controlling source changed or a new effective rule was incorporated.
  • Verification: current source was checked and no material change was needed.
  • Minor edit: wording, grammar, formatting, or a link changed without changing meaning.

July 31, 2026 | IDFPR education-provider listing | Verification

The approved-provider guidance was checked against IDFPR's current real estate education-provider listing dated July 31, 2026 when reviewed. The page tells students to verify both the provider and exact approved course again before enrolling.

Result: no provider is treated as endorsed for teaching quality, price, service, pass rate, or personal fit merely because it appears on an approval list. The verification date is shown because provider and course status can change.

How a future material correction will appear

A material correction entry will state the date, affected page, earlier claim, corrected claim, primary source, and scope of the connected-page review. It will not erase the fact that the earlier claim was published.

A report is assessed against current primary sources before the page changes. If the evidence is ambiguous or official sources conflict, the page will disclose the uncertainty and the source hierarchy rather than inflate confidence.

Quick questions

Does no recorded correction prove every page is correct?

No. It reports the current log status, not a guarantee. The site can still contain an unnoticed error or become outdated after a source changes.

What counts as a material correction?

A change is material when the earlier statement could alter a student's understanding, study decision, calculation, eligibility conclusion, deadline, or required action.

Are spelling and style edits logged?

Not as material corrections when they do not change meaning. They may still be fixed through routine editorial work.

Why list verification entries?

A dated verification shows which current primary source was checked even when no correction or source-driven change was required.

How can a reader report a possible error?

Use the feedback control on the affected page, identify the exact statement, and include the strongest primary source available. The report is checked before the content changes.

Primary sources and review status

Checked through August 1, 2026. The downloadable resource also displays its source and review date. The current official source controls if a rule, outline, or procedure changes.
